Down a flight of stairs on Pudding Lane, we've created MBER as a subterranean escape from the bustle of the City. Our space pays homage to this historic spot where the Great Fire of London began, with Ross McNally's design bringing together glowing copper fixtures, charcoal metal accents, warm wood paneling, and flickering candlelight throughout our underground dining rooms. For party bookings, we offer four distinct private spaces. Our most intimate is The Snug, perfect for groups of up to 4, while The Retreat accommodates up to 6 guests. The Vault works beautifully for parties of 8, and our largest space, The Cellar Bar, transforms from an elegant seated dinner for 30 to a lively standing reception for 45. Each room maintains that warm, copper-lit atmosphere that makes MBER special, and we hold a late license allowing us to serve drinks until 2am for private events. Our kitchen serves Pan-Asian tapas designed for sharing - think soft shell crab tempura, wagyu beef and foie gras burgers, and roasted hoisin duck bao passing between friends. We've also developed a strong vegetarian and vegan selection, ensuring everyone in your party finds something they love. Our bar team has created an extensive cocktail menu alongside carefully chosen wines and sake that pair perfectly with the food. Just steps from Monument station, we're easy to find despite being tucked away below street level.
