Red lights glow behind the bar at Nice 'n' Sleazy, casting shadows across vintage posters that have watched over Glasgow's underground music scene for decades. We're the dive bar on 421 Sauchiehall Street that bands actually want to play in - no pay-to-play nonsense, just pure music and good times. Our upstairs bar feels like stepping into a 1960s casino that never quite made it to Vegas. The red lighting isn't just mood setting; it's become part of our DNA, along with the retro décor that gives every corner its own story. Head downstairs to our basement dance hall and you'll find where the real magic happens. From garage and dubstep to rock 'n' roll and soul, we host everything that makes noise and moves people. We keep things simple but right. Open from noon until 3 AM every day, we serve food until 9 PM - including proper vegan options because everyone deserves a good meal before a night out. Our black and white Russians have become legendary among regulars, though we'd never call them "signature" - they're just bloody good drinks. Ryano's Pizzeria keeps everyone fed with Neapolitan pizzas that hit differently at 8 PM on a Saturday. For parties and events, we offer the whole space or just sections, depending on what you need. Album launches work brilliantly in our basement, while creative networking nights flow naturally upstairs where conversations mix with the music. The Glasgow School of Art crowd and students from across the city treat us like their second living room, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
