Our 200-year-old Kings Head Hotel sits right on Wimborne Minster's market square, where you can watch the daily life of this historic town from our large windows. We've been welcoming guests here for generations, and while the building dates back two centuries with its characteristic high ceilings, we've carefully updated everything to meet today's expectations. For your meeting needs, we offer a dedicated space that comfortably accommodates up to 20 people. The room benefits from those same period features - plenty of natural light through the tall windows and the sense of space that comes with Victorian-era architecture. We find the historic setting actually helps create a more relaxed atmosphere for business discussions, away from the typical corporate environment. Our 27 en-suite rooms provide comfortable accommodation if you need to stay overnight before or after your meeting. We have doubles, twins, singles, and family rooms available. The bar and restaurant downstairs serves traditional English food throughout the day, along with real ales, premium lagers, and wines - perfect for informal networking after your sessions. We provide free Wi-Fi throughout the building, essential for any business gathering. While we do have some on-site parking, spaces are limited, though there's additional public parking nearby in the town center. We're also happy to accommodate assistance dogs or pets if any attendees need to bring them. Beyond meetings, we also host intimate wedding receptions for up to 20 guests, working with couples to create bespoke packages.
