The Royal George Hotel has been welcoming guests to Birdlip since the 18th century, and we're proud to continue that tradition today. Our 26-acre grounds offer some of the finest views across the Cotswolds countryside, making us a favorite spot for both local gatherings and destination events. We have several flexible spaces that work beautifully for different occasions. Our meeting rooms can accommodate up to 90 delegates, with natural daylight and all the tech support you'd expect. Many business groups appreciate being just a short drive from Cheltenham Racecourse and Gloucester Cathedral, allowing them to combine meetings with local activities. For weddings, we're fully licensed and our dedicated coordinator works closely with each couple to create their perfect day. Our traditional bar and restaurant provide the backdrop for celebrations, while the large beer garden and heated terrace offer additional options for drinks receptions or outdoor dining. We can arrange bespoke packages that include use of our 34 individually styled bedrooms for overnight guests. Every bedroom comes with free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and its own en-suite bathroom. Some rooms open directly onto the garden, which wedding parties particularly love for getting ready photos. We're also dog-friendly throughout the hotel, so your four-legged family members can join the celebrations too. Our kitchen serves hearty pub classics and lighter dishes until 10pm daily, paired with real ales from our bar or selections from our wine list.
