Walking through the doors of Òran Mór, our converted 19th-century church on Byres Road, you'll immediately notice Alasdair Gray's celestial ceiling mural stretching above you - it's one of those details that makes every meeting here feel a bit special. We're right across from the Botanic Gardens in Glasgow's West End, which means your attendees can easily grab a coffee or take a stroll between sessions. We've got several spaces that work brilliantly for meetings and corporate events. Our Auditorium is the showstopper - it holds up to 276 people for banquets and comes with its own private bar and entrance, so your group won't be mixing with our regular lunch crowd. For smaller meetings, we often recommend Dan Mór, Fonn Mór, or the Beattie & MacLennan Room. Each has its own character, and we'll help you pick the right one based on your numbers and setup needs. The building's history as a church gives our meeting spaces natural acoustics that work wonderfully with our PA systems - no struggling to hear presentations from the back row. We've made sure everything's accessible too, with disabled access throughout the venue. Private bars in several of our spaces mean coffee breaks and networking sessions can happen right where you're working, without losing momentum.
