The grand pipe organ and soaring architecture of Ps & Gs Church create an atmosphere unlike any other venue in Edinburgh's city centre. We're proud to open our historic doors at 46 York Place to host everything from intimate board meetings to spectacular performances that fill our 650-seat Main Space. Our building serves multiple purposes throughout the week, and we've carefully adapted each area to meet different needs. The Main Space transforms beautifully from Sunday services to weekday conferences, with theatre-style seating that gives every guest a clear view. Our experienced audio-visual technicians handle the technical details, whether you're presenting to hundreds or streaming a hybrid event. We've installed a hearing loop system here because accessibility matters to us. Upstairs, our Upper Hall creates a more intimate setting for groups of up to 40. Natural light fills this flexible space during daytime workshops and seminars. Many organisers appreciate how the room's layout encourages discussion and collaboration. The Ground Floor Hall sits conveniently next to our kitchen, making catering straightforward for events up to 55 people. We can divide this space into two separate areas when smaller groups need privacy for breakout sessions or parallel meetings. Getting here couldn't be easier - York Place tram station is just around the corner, and our street-level entrance means no stairs to navigate with equipment or mobility aids. Our technical team provides full audio-visual support across all spaces, from microphones to projection systems. As a church, we're particularly passionate about supporting charitable organisations. We offer special rates for non-profits, and every pound from venue hire goes directly back into our community programmes.
