Our Georgian manor house has been hosting meetings and conferences since we opened as a hotel in 1955, and the original Robert Adam fireplace still graces our main lounge where delegates often gather during breaks. Built in 1779, Rowton Hall Country House Hotel sits on eight acres of gardens and pastureland, just 2.5 miles from Chester's historic center, giving your team both tranquility and easy access to the city. We've configured our function rooms to accommodate everything from board meetings for 10 to conferences for 200 in our Ballroom. The Inglenook Adams Lounge works particularly well for smaller strategy sessions, with natural light streaming through the original windows and that magnificent fireplace creating an atmosphere that encourages creative thinking. Our 40 en-suite bedrooms, including several luxury suites and apartments, mean residential conferences run smoothly—no one has to worry about commuting after a long day of workshops. Between sessions, delegates often take walks through our grounds or use the spa facilities. We maintain a 12-meter indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam room, and fully-equipped gym specifically because we've found physical activity helps teams stay energized during intensive meeting schedules.
