About Sandringham Hotel
Our 19th-century building has been welcoming Cardiff visitors for generations, and we've learned exactly what makes meetings work. The Sandringham Hotel sits right in the city center, about five minutes' walk from the train station and even closer to St. David's Shopping Center. We run two distinct meeting spaces here, both up one flight of stairs from our main entrance. The Grosvenor Suite holds up to 100 people theater-style - we've configured it countless ways depending on what groups need. Our smaller Stuarts Lounge works better for board meetings or team workshops where everyone needs to see each other properly. Both rooms come with complimentary Wi-Fi, and we can arrange the furniture however suits your agenda. What sets us apart is how we handle the unexpected. Just recently, a client mixed up their event timing, arriving later than booked on one of our busiest days. Rather than turn them away, we quickly prepared our alternative room at no extra charge. They told us afterward how much they appreciated our flexibility - it's simply how we operate as a family-run hotel. Our 28 guest rooms mean colleagues traveling from outside Cardiff can stay right here, each with en-suite facilities, flat-screen TV, and tea and coffee supplies. We handle catering in-house, whether you want a working lunch buffet or formal dining after your conference. Being this close to Cardiff Castle and the Principality Stadium, many groups combine their meetings with team activities or client entertainment nearby. The building itself adds character to any gathering - original features throughout remind everyone they're somewhere with history, not just another corporate venue. We've hosted everything from small board meetings to wedding receptions and company presentations over the years.
