The morning mist rolls across our 100 acres here at Shores Hey Farm, where rescued horses graze peacefully in the Thursden Valley. We're the proud home of HAPPA (Horses and Ponies Protection Association), and while our primary mission focuses on equine rescue and rehabilitation, we've discovered our facilities make perfect meeting spaces for businesses seeking something beyond typical conference rooms. Our five meeting rooms each offer their own character. The Briercliffe Suite opens onto an outdoor deck where you can step out during breaks and watch our 60 resident horses in the paddocks below. The Thursden Suite frames the valley through floor-to-ceiling windows - we've seen countless productive sessions here, with natural light flooding across Smart Board presentations. For larger gatherings, our indoor arena transforms from its usual training space into an unexpected venue that gets people talking. Between meetings, our 80-cover restaurant serves meals prepared by our award-winning chef. Everything's made fresh in our kitchen, from morning pastries to full lunch service. We recently won recognition as Lancashire's Smallest Visitor Attraction, though our car park fits 100 vehicles comfortably, and we've ensured full disabled access throughout the building. Every booking directly supports our rescue work. We currently care for 260 horses across our network, with each one having their own rehabilitation story. Free Wi-Fi runs throughout the buildings, and we can arrange our rooms for boardroom discussions, workshop circles, or theatre-style presentations. Whether you're planning training sessions, team meetings, or strategy workshops, you'll find the countryside setting shifts perspectives. The horses wandering past during coffee breaks tend to spark conversations you wouldn't get in a city boardroom.
