About Soho Recording Studios
The red brick building at 22-24 Torrington Place houses Soho Recording Studios, where musicians have been laying down tracks since we opened our doors in Fitzrovia. Just a short walk from Goodge Street tube station, we've created a space where creativity flows naturally through our control rooms and recording areas. Our engineers work with artists daily, helping them capture everything from intimate voice-overs to full band sessions. Mike, one of our senior engineers, brings years of experience to every project, guiding artists through recording, mixing, overdubbing, and mastering. We handle post-production too, so your project stays under one roof from start to finish. The studio works best with groups up to 10 people standing comfortably. We've designed our control rooms to transform into live recording spaces when needed - just move some gear around and you've got room for a small ensemble. While we provide basic furniture to keep sessions comfortable, artists bring their own instruments and equipment, allowing them to work with the gear they know best. Musicians often tell us they appreciate the focused atmosphere here. Without the distractions of a massive facility, we can concentrate on what matters: getting great takes and building tracks that sound exactly how you imagined. Our location in central London means session musicians can easily drop by, and clients can pop out for coffee between takes at the cafes dotting the neighborhood.
