The gardens surrounding St. Katharine's Precinct create an unexpected pocket of calm just steps from Limehouse station. We've built our community centre around these green spaces, with two distinct venues that bring people together in different ways. Our meeting room opens directly onto the gardens through floor-to-ceiling windows, filling the boardroom with natural light throughout the day. We've designed this sophisticated space to help groups focus on what matters - whether you're running a focus group, leading a brainstorming session, or hosting a team workshop. The tranquil garden views provide a refreshing backdrop that helps clear minds and spark new ideas. The real heart of our precinct is the Yurt Café - a modern interpretation of traditional yurt architecture that creates an instantly memorable dining and event space. We can seat 35 guests comfortably for meals or accommodate up to 70 for standing receptions. The café comes with its own private bar, and our kitchen team prepares everything fresh using locally sourced ingredients. From craft coffee and specialist teas to full homemade meals, we handle all the catering in-house. The yurt's circular design and warm atmosphere make it particularly special for celebrations. We've hosted birthday parties where the curved walls seem to wrap guests in conversation, staff gatherings that feel more like dinner parties than corporate events, and intimate wedding receptions that spill out into our gardens during summer months. Poetry nights and open mic comedy events have become regular fixtures, with the unique acoustics adding something special to performances. As part of The Royal Foundation of St. Katharine, we're a social enterprise - meaning every booking helps fund community initiatives across Limehouse.
