Three projectors beam across exposed brick walls at Strange Brew, where we've transformed a former warehouse on Fairfax Street into Bristol's most adaptable party space. Our 330-person capacity venue started as an experiment in community gathering, and now we're hosting everything from underground DJ sets to corporate celebrations that need something different from the usual hotel ballroom. The space itself does most of the talking - industrial beams overhead, contemporary art installations that change monthly, and a sound system that properly fills the room without drowning out conversation. We've kept the raw warehouse feel while adding the technical bits that make events actually work: those three projectors connect to any device, our microphone setup handles speeches or live performances, and the lighting system shifts from bright networking mode to moody dance floor with a few button presses. Our ground-floor location on Fairfax Street puts you right in Bristol's creative quarter, with plenty of transport links nearby. Inside, we run a full bar stocked with local breweries and distilleries alongside the expected options, plus our barista team stays on for events needing proper coffee service. While we don't handle catering directly, we work with several Bristol food vendors who know our space well and can serve anything from canapés to full dinners.
