About Tanner Warehouse
Our warehouse on Bermondsey Street started life as an actual working warehouse, and we've kept those original brick walls and wooden beams that give the space its character. Just a short walk from London Bridge station, we're tucked into this buzzing neighborhood where Borough Market meets the creative energy of SE1. The building unfolds across three distinct areas that we've designed to work together or separately. The Parlour works brilliantly for drinks receptions – we often see wedding parties gathering here for cocktails while their photographers capture those first moments as newlyweds. The main Warehouse space transforms depending on what you need: we can seat 150 for a wedding breakfast or clear the floor for up to 450 dancing guests. Then there's our Terrace, which comes into its own during summer weddings when guests spill outside between the ceremony and dinner. Our open kitchen serves proper British food – none of that fussy plated stuff that leaves you hungry. Whether you're planning a wedding feast or corporate event catering, our chefs work with you to create menus that actually reflect what you want. We've cooked for vegans, arranged kosher meals, and once did an entire menu based on a couple's first date dishes. The AV setup means corporate presentations run smoothly, but we've also projected wedding photos onto our brick walls and had live bands use our sound system. Our bar team knows their stuff too – they'll create signature cocktails for your wedding or keep the drinks flowing at your company party. What makes Tanner Warehouse work for weddings and parties is how the industrial bones of the building create atmosphere without us having to dress it up. Those exposed surfaces, the warmth of the wood, the way natural light filters through – it's already there.
