Three flights of stairs above our bustling ground floor pub, we've created something special at The Bull and The Hide. Our 36-seat dining room, The Hide, transforms from refined restaurant by day into an exclusive party space that captures the warmth of a private dinner party with friends. We're tucked away on Devonshire Row, a pedestrianized street that lets your guests arrive without the usual London traffic chaos. Being steps from Liverpool Street Station means everyone finds us easily, whether they're coming from the City or further afield. The building itself tells a story - we're part of the Hush Heath family, bringing together their award-winning Kent winery heritage with proper London hospitality. For parties, The Hide offers an intimate setting where conversations flow as freely as the drinks. We serve everything from craft beers and speciality spirits to wines from our own Hush Heath vineyard. The menu ranges from elevated pub classics to refined dishes - think homemade sausage rolls alongside scallops with lobster bisque. Our chefs work with seasonal British ingredients, partnering with local suppliers who share our standards. What makes parties here different is the flexibility we offer. Some groups book just The Hide for seated dinners, while others take over multiple floors. We've got ten boutique bedrooms upstairs, each with its own character and en-suite bathroom, perfect when your celebration runs late. Guests staying overnight have access to our 24-hour pantry - we keep it stocked with proper coffee, tea, and snacks. The ground floor pub adds another dimension to events. Groups often start with drinks downstairs among the regulars before heading up to their private space, or end the night there for a more relaxed atmosphere.
