Step right off platform 1 at West Norwood station and you'll find yourself at The Great North Wood, where we've been pouring pints and hosting parties since 1864. Our Victorian pub has grown into the perfect spot for celebrations of all sizes, with two distinct spaces that work brilliantly for different types of gatherings. The Function Room is where the real magic happens for larger parties - we can fit 100 of your friends and family when everyone's standing and mingling. For more intimate celebrations or smaller birthday parties, our Common Room holds up to 30 people comfortably. Both spaces come with everything you need to keep the party going: free Wi-Fi for sharing those celebration photos, a projector if you want to show a slideshow or video tribute, and our PA system for speeches or background music. Our beer garden transforms summer parties into something special. Picture your guests spilling out onto the terrace with drinks in hand while kids run around safely in the enclosed space.
