About The Green House
Picture this: your guests arriving through tree-lined gates, following a private drive to find this gorgeous Victorian mansion waiting at the end. We're talking proper countryside here—15 acres of it—but only 20 minutes from the motorway. The ballroom is the showstopper (crystal chandeliers, the works), fitting 200 for dinner or 300 for drinks. But we've also got three other function rooms if you want something more intimate. The grounds are what really seal the deal though. Sprawling lawns, a rose garden that's genuinely spectacular in summer, and this lovely terrace where everyone ends up congregating with their drinks. Our kitchen team has been together for years and they know their stuff—proper food, not fancy nonsense. We handle everything in-house: flowers, music, the lot. The bridal suite overlooks the lake (yes, there's a lake). Look, we've been doing this since my parents ran the place, and we've learned what matters: good food, beautiful spaces, and making sure nothing goes wrong on your big day.
