About The Light Bar
The original brick walls of our 1893 Victorian power station create the perfect backdrop for parties in Shoreditch. We've transformed this former industrial building into a three-floor party venue that keeps the character while adding all the modern touches you need for a proper celebration. Our Engine Hall on the ground floor works brilliantly for drinks receptions - the high ceilings and original features give it real atmosphere. Head up to the Copper Bar on the mezzanine when you want something more intimate for your cocktail party, or take over Upstairs, our top-floor restaurant space, for seated dinners. We can accommodate up to 300 guests across all our spaces, so whether you're planning a 50th birthday bash or a full-scale corporate party, we've got the room you need. The Backyard is where things get interesting - it's our secluded outdoor space with a retractable roof and heaters, meaning your party can spill outside whatever the weather. The Front Terrace gives you another outdoor option right on the street if you want to be part of the Shoreditch buzz. Our kitchen team creates modern party menus using seasonal ingredients from local suppliers, and our bar staff mix cocktails that actually taste as good as they look. We run regular events too - Friday Happy Hours, £5 flatbreads on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, plus DJ nights with our resident DJ Supadred who knows how to get a party going.
