The main Hall transforms beautifully from morning board meetings to evening wedding receptions - we can accommodate 200 guests for drinks and canapés, or seat 120 comfortably for a formal dinner. The musician's balcony adds another dimension, whether you're planning live entertainment or simply want to capture photographs from above. For more intimate gatherings, our Court Room tells its own story through mahogany panels and the oil paintings that have watched over Edinburgh merchants for generations. The antique furniture creates an atmosphere that modern venues simply can't replicate. We arrange the space for 80 guests during receptions or 50 for seated dinners, and the room's warmth makes every corporate meeting or family celebration feel special. We've partnered exclusively with Hickory for all our catering needs. Their team brings inventive menus built around sustainable Scottish ingredients - they understand how food should complement our historic spaces rather than compete with them. Getting here couldn't be easier - we're just a five-minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley Station. Our lift serves all floors, and we've ensured accessible facilities throughout the building.
