About The Plough
Fire crackles in the hearth as your guests arrive at The Plough, our 1800s pub that's been bringing people together in Dulwich for generations. We've kept the original wood paneling and exposed brick that tell the building's story, while adding comfortable plush furnishings where your party guests can settle in with a pint. Our two beer gardens transform depending on the season - in summer, we fire up the barbecues and your guests spill out across 300 spaces under the stars. When it's cooler, our covered areas with outdoor heating keep the party going outside. The front garden catches the afternoon sun perfectly, while the rear garden offers more privacy for bigger celebrations. Inside, we can accommodate 200 standing guests or seat 100 comfortably across our traditional pub rooms. We know party food matters, so our kitchen serves proper British pub classics - the ale and steak pie is a crowd favorite, alongside fish and chips and our signature steak burgers. Every Saturday, we run bottomless brunch sessions where breakfast dishes come with unlimited prosecco, Bloody Marys, or Camden Hells lager. Sunday roasts draw the locals, but we're happy to arrange these for private groups too. Dogs are welcome to join the festivities - we've always been that kind of place. The combination of indoor and outdoor spaces means your event can flow naturally, with guests moving between the cozy interior and the garden as they please. We're tucked between Denmark Hill and Forest Hill stations, making it easy for everyone to get here.
