About Town Hall Tavern
Right behind Manchester's iconic Town Hall, we've created something special at the Town Hall Tavern - a proper pub that works brilliantly for private parties and celebrations. Our traditional two-level layout gives you plenty of options: the main bar area flows into a raised seating section, while the lower lounge offers a more intimate space for your guests to catch up. We're particularly proud of our function room, which holds up to 50 people for private hire (though we can accommodate up to 80 guests across the venue). The space comes with its own private bar, so your party won't be queuing with the regular punters. We've installed a proper AV and sound system too - you can plug in your own playlist or let us handle the music. The HD screens throughout mean you won't miss the match if your party falls on game day, with both Sky Sports and TNT Sports available. Food-wise, we serve up hearty British fare with our famous Pieminister pies taking center stage - proper comfort food that goes down well at any gathering. Behind the bar, we pour up to five real ales at any time, often featuring local Manchester breweries alongside the regulars. Free Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected, and when the weather's decent, our outdoor seating area gives your guests somewhere to step out for fresh air. We welcome well-behaved dogs and kids, making us a genuinely inclusive space for family celebrations. The venue's flexibility means we've hosted everything from birthday parties and engagement drinks to corporate presentations and team celebrations. Our central location near key transport links means your guests can easily get here and home again, whether they're coming from across Manchester or further afield.
