When you walk through our doors at Ulster Hall, you're stepping into Belfast's most beloved music hall - the 'Grand Dame of Bedford Street' as we're fondly known. Since 1862, we've been hosting everything from rock legends to classical orchestras, comedians to theatrical productions, all within these Victorian walls that seem to breathe history. The heart of our venue is the Grand Hall, originally built with acoustics as the primary focus. We can accommodate up to 1,000 seated guests, perfect for keynote speeches and presentations, or transform the space for standing concerts of up to 1,749 people when we remove the ground floor seating. The Mulholland Grand Organ dominates the stage - this magnificent instrument was donated by former Lord Mayor Andrew Mulholland and remains one of our most striking features. For meetings and corporate events, our Grand Hall offers something beyond a standard conference room. The exceptional acoustics mean every word carries clearly throughout the space, while the Victorian architecture creates an atmosphere that inspires rather than intimidates. We've hosted countless keynote speeches, AGMs, and large-scale presentations here. Our facilities include a fully staffed box office and a bar on the first floor within our Group Space, where delegates can network during breaks.
