About Vatican Studios

We run Vatican Studios from our base at 190 Bancroft Road in Bethnal Green, where creative projects come to life across five spacious studios. Our two live rooms get plenty of use from bands laying down tracks, while the other spaces transform daily—one morning it's a dance rehearsal, the next evening a DJ practicing their set. The building buzzes with different sounds depending on the day. You might hear drummers warming up in one studio while a vocalist records next door. We've equipped each space with professional gear, so whether you're tracking a full band or just need somewhere to rehearse before a gig, we've got what you need. The studios work just as well for dance classes as they do for music projects—we've seen everything from contemporary dance workshops to heavy metal recordings happen here. Just a short walk from both Stepney Green and Bethnal Green stations, musicians and artists find us pretty convenient to reach. We work primarily by appointment, which means we can set up each studio specifically for what you're planning. Some groups book regular weekly slots for rehearsals, while others come in for intensive recording weekends. Our East London location puts us right in the heart of the creative scene, and we've become a bit of a hub for local artists. The adaptable spaces mean we can accommodate most creative projects—from solo artists working on demos to full productions with multiple musicians.
