Here at Wonwood Barton, we've spent years restoring this 19th-century farmstead into something special for your celebration. Twelve acres stretch across Devon's Tamar Valley, right where the countryside opens up toward Cornwall and Dartmoor National Park sits on our doorstep. Our traditional beamed roundhouse forms the heart of wedding celebrations - it's where up to 75 of your guests can gather for dinner under those original timbers. The courtyard bursts with flowers we've cultivated over the seasons, creating natural backdrops throughout the property. When you book with us, you get the entire place for two nights, with beds for 16 guests across our four private suites. We know every couple pictures their day differently, so we've created multiple ceremony spots. The pergola catches the valley views perfectly, while our south-facing lawn works beautifully for outdoor vows. For larger celebrations, our Greenfield space welcomes marquees that can hold up to 120 guests. Everything you need comes included - tables, chairs, and audio equipment for speeches and your playlist. We don't charge corkage either, so you can bring whatever drinks suit your taste and budget. The farmstead sits close enough to Plymouth for easy guest access, but far enough into the countryside that you feel completely away from it all. Whether you're planning an intimate elopement or filling the grounds with friends and family, we give you the freedom to shape your celebration. Our restored barns, flowering courtyard, and valley views create the setting - you bring the party that makes it yours.
