Our Old Barrel Room sits deep within the original Sandeman Port cellars, where centuries of wine history seep through every exposed brick. This atmospheric dining space accommodates up to 35 seated guests beneath its distinctive vaulted ceiling, creating an intimate setting that feels both grand and personal. The room's character comes from its authentic cellar architecture - those curved brick walls aren't decoration, they're the real thing, having sheltered port barrels for generations. We've preserved these original features while adding contemporary touches: long tables dressed in crisp white linens, deep blue upholstered chairs that encourage lingering conversations, and warm lighting that brings out the natural textures of the ancient brickwork. What makes dining here special is the sense of occasion the space naturally creates. Corporate dinners take on a different quality when held in a room with this much history.
