At Magpie and Stump, we've been part of the city's love stories since 1550, and your wedding deserves nothing less than all three floors of our historic venue. Picture your guests arriving to find welcome drinks waiting in our ground floor pub, where 20 draught beers flow alongside carefully selected wines. The excitement builds as they explore upward to our middle floor cocktail bar, perhaps catching our famous 2-for-1 happy hour between 4 and 7pm, or raising a glass of prosecco at just £26 a bottle. By the time everyone gathers in the basement for your main celebration, the atmosphere is already electric. Our event space transforms to match your vision. The separate entrance to our basement ensures your wedding maintains its privacy while your guests enjoy the character of a working London pub above. Those original fireplaces and vintage photographs throughout the building tell their own stories, creating conversation points as guests move between floors. Your wedding photographer will love the variety of settings, from the traditional pub atmosphere at ground level to the more intimate cocktail bar, down to your private celebration space below.
