Right across from the Old Bailey at 18 Old Bailey, London EC4M 7EP, our historic pub transforms into the perfect backdrop for weddings and private celebrations. Our basement bar is where the real magic happens for events. We can accommodate up to 120 guests in this versatile space, giving you and your party exclusive use away from the everyday pub crowd. Whether you're planning an intimate wedding reception or a lively birthday bash, the exposed brick walls and atmospheric lighting create exactly the right mood. Your guests can explore all three floors during your event. Start with welcome drinks in our ground floor pub, where we pour 20 different draught beers including Guinness and Timothy Taylor, plus rotating selections from breweries across the UK. The middle floor cocktail bar becomes a natural gathering spot as the evening progresses - we run 2-for-1 cocktails during our 4-7pm happy hour, and bottles of prosecco are just £26 throughout the night. We understand that every celebration is different. Our experienced team works with you to configure the basement space exactly as you need it, whether that's clearing the floor for dancing, setting up for a seated dinner, or creating distinct areas for mingling and dining.
