Our 131 rooms spread across the Waterfront Southport Hotel frame Marine Lake like a gallery, each window capturing the water differently throughout the day. From the penthouses, you can watch the Irish Sea stretch to the horizon while the art deco details of our building cast shadows that shift with the afternoon light. We've designed five meeting spaces that work equally well for board presentations or wedding ceremonies. The natural light changes the mood of each room as the day progresses - morning sessions feel energized by the eastern exposure, while afternoon gatherings take on a warmer glow. Our largest space accommodates corporate conferences comfortably, while the smaller rooms create an intimate setting for strategy sessions or family celebrations. The Roof Garden & Bar sits high enough that conversations blend with the sound of seabirds rather than street traffic. We serve drinks here as the sun sets over the water, and many guests end up staying longer than planned, drawn by the 180-degree views. Below, the Waterside Marina Restaurant overlooks the boats bobbing in their berths - we've noticed business dinners tend to run more smoothly when there's something peaceful to glance at between courses. Your dogs are welcome to join you (we keep treats at reception), and if you book directly with us, parking is on us. The walk from Southport station takes about ten minutes along the waterfront, though some guests prefer the scenic route through the town center. Our position on England's Golf Coast means championship courses lie within easy reach, but we find even non-golfers appreciate waking up to water views. The art deco architecture creates interesting angles for photographers, whether they're capturing a product launch or wedding portraits.
