Five nights a week, our brass bar gleams as musicians take the stage and transform this basement into something electric. The Event Area at The Domino Club wraps around you with rich wood paneling and leather booths that have absorbed decades of laughter, deals sealed over whisky, and first dates that turned into something more. When you book the Event Area for your celebration, you get the entire space, from our handmade brass bar to the intimate stage where jazz quartets and soul singers usually hold court. The parquet floor has felt the rhythm of countless dancing feet, and those same boards will carry the energy of your party. Our rustic brick wall frames the performance area, crowned by our neon "Domino" sign that photographs beautifully when your guests inevitably want to capture the night. We can arrange the space to suit your vision, whether that's 140 guests mingling with drinks in hand, 87 seated for a banquet-style dinner, or 50 in cabaret formation watching entertainment on our stage. The room comes equipped with professional AV equipment, microphones, and a quality PA system, so speeches, presentations, or live performances run smoothly. Our experienced bar team stays focused on your guests throughout the evening, mixing classics and seasonal creations with the same care we bring to our regular nights. The soft candlelight and warm atmosphere create an intimacy that larger venues can't match, while the Grade II listed building's character adds authenticity no modern space can replicate. We're tucked into the basement of Grand Arcade in central Leeds, with paid parking nearby and excellent transport links. Please note that as a basement venue in a historic building, we don't have wheelchair access, though we wish the architecture allowed otherwise.
