The Jephson Suite sits right next to our Clocktower Cafe, which means your guests can grab a proper coffee without trekking through the entire hotel. We've hosted everything here from intense board meetings where decisions worth millions get made, to surprise birthday parties where the cake barely fits through the door. With space for up to 35 people, this room hits that sweet spot between intimate and spacious. Natural light pours in through the large windows, so you won't feel like you're celebrating in a bunker. We've watched corporate teams transform the space from a theatre setup for 35 into cosy cabaret rounds for 18, all in the time it takes to have lunch. The boardroom table seats 24 comfortably, with proper cushioned chairs that won't leave everyone fidgeting after an hour. We keep the projector screen ready to go, along with flip charts for those who still prefer markers to PowerPoint. The air conditioning works brilliantly, keeping everyone comfortable even when discussions get heated or the dance floor gets busy. Being next to the cafe works brilliantly for events. Morning workshops flow straight into coffee breaks, and evening celebrations can spill out naturally when people need a breather. We handle the catering in-house, whether you need halal options for your international conference or vegan treats for a birthday party. The room adapts to whatever you throw at it. Last month alone we've arranged it as a U-shape for 26 management trainees, classroom style for 16 accountants taking their CPD, and cleared it completely for a 40-person cocktail reception. Birmingham Airport's just 20 minutes down the road, and with free parking and reliable Wi-Fi, the practical stuff takes care of itself while you focus on your celebration.
