The Ovens brings together exposed wooden beams and whitewashed brick walls in a way that makes formal dining feel refreshingly relaxed. We've watched this semi-private space host everything from anniversary dinners where couples recreate their first date, to business dinners where contracts get signed between courses. The long dining table, dressed in crisp white linens, seats 30 comfortably whether you're arranging a boardroom setup for presentations or a banquet style for celebrations. Natural light pours through the large windows throughout the day, and when evening arrives, the warm lighting creates an atmosphere that encourages guests to linger over their Donald Russell steaks and another glass from our extensive cellars. What makes The Ovens particularly special is its direct access to our courtyard. We often see groups naturally drift outside between courses, wine glasses in hand, especially during summer events when the doors stay open and dining extends into both spaces. For receptions, the room comfortably holds 40 guests who can move freely between the rustic interior and the courtyard, creating their own flow for the evening. The proximity to both London Bridge and Borough Market means your guests arrive easily, whether they're coming from offices in the City or travelling across London. We've hosted wine-pairing dinners here where our sommeliers guide guests through vintages from Davy's collection, birthday celebrations that start with canapés in the courtyard before moving inside for dinner, and corporate entertaining where the relaxed setting helps seal important deals. Our kitchen serves the same carefully sourced British menu here as throughout the venue, with those famous carved meats and seasonal dishes that change with what's best right now.
