The Charter Room draws its name from the historic documents that once lined these walls, and stepping inside feels like joining a private club from another era. We've kept the best parts of this intimate space while making it work beautifully for modern celebrations. The round table arrangement naturally brings your group of up to 12 together, creating conversations that flow as easily as the wine. Those tall windows frame our garden perfectly, and depending on the season, you'll watch either summer blooms or winter frost while dining. The chandelier overhead catches the candlelight from our silver candlesticks, creating that warm glow that makes everyone look their best in photos. We chose the portraits on the walls carefully, each one telling a piece of Stationers' Hall's 350-year story without overwhelming the space. Our team sets each table with proper china and crystal, arranging fresh flowers to complement whatever celebration brings you here. Birthday dinners work wonderfully in this room, as do anniversary parties where couples want somewhere more special than a restaurant booth. Corporate groups book the Charter Room for board dinners or when sealing important deals, finding the privacy and atmosphere help important conversations happen naturally. The renovation respected what made this room special while adding practical touches.
