The Event Space at Adam House combines the raw beauty of 1776 architecture with everything you need for a modern celebration. Three levels below street level, you'll find yourself surrounded by original cross-vaulted ceilings and exposed brickwork that create an atmosphere you won't find in newer London venues. We've designed this space to work for different occasions, whether you're planning a wedding reception for 60 seated guests, a product launch for 150 standing, or an intimate after-party. The geometric patterns on our walls and mix of contemporary furniture, from colourful chairs to comfortable sofas, bring energy to the historic bones of the room. Our bar area becomes a natural gathering point during events, with its sleek counter and high stools encouraging guests to mingle. The two-floor layout gives you options, with dedicated VIP areas, breakout spaces, and a separate reception area that helps your event flow naturally. We've kept the technical side simple but effective, with projector, flatscreen TV and conference call facilities ready when you need them. Being just steps from Charing Cross Station means your guests can easily find us, whether they're coming from across London or further afield. Our kitchen handles everything from canapés to full dining service, though you're welcome to bring your own caterers if you prefer. The late premises license and private entrance give you flexibility with timing and privacy. What really sets us apart is how the space transforms. Those vaulted ceilings and brick walls create intimacy for smaller gatherings yet feel grand when filled with 150 people. Our cargo lift makes load-in straightforward, and the wine cellar adds an unexpected element for tastings or storing supplies.
