The buzz of conversation fills Gibney's as another Friday night kicks off in our underground Dublin-style pub. Down the stairs from street level, you'll find yourself in a space where the mahogany bar stretches along one wall, stocked with over 120 Irish whiskeys that catch the light from the warm Edison bulbs overhead. We've recreated the feel of Temple Bar right here in Shoreditch, complete with high tables where groups gather after work and snug booths tucked into corners for those wanting a bit more privacy. Our space works brilliantly for parties of all kinds, whether you're bringing 20 friends for birthday drinks or hosting 150 colleagues for your company Christmas do. The wooden furnishings and exposed brick create that authentic pub atmosphere, while our inbuilt stage has seen everything from traditional Irish musicians to DJs spinning until the early hours. We can arrange the room for 50 seated guests if you're planning a proper dinner, or keep it standing-room style for up to 150 when you want everyone mixing and mingling. The projectors and screens dotted around mean nobody misses the match, though they work just as well for presentations if you're combining business with pleasure. Our professional sound system handles whatever entertainment you have in mind, from live bands to karaoke sessions that always end with someone attempting "The Fields of Athenry." Full air conditioning keeps things comfortable even when the dance floor gets packed, and yes, we have reliable Wi-Fi throughout. Getting here couldn't be easier, we're practically on top of Old Street Station, with step-free access from street level and paid parking nearby for those driving.
