The Masefield Suite transforms throughout the day from a community meeting space into a proper party venue, complete with draped walls and coloured uplighters that completely change the atmosphere once evening arrives. We've hosted countless celebrations here, from milestone birthdays where guests filled the dance floor until midnight, to corporate awards evenings with 300 colleagues cheering from theatre-style seating as winners took to our built-in stage. The suite accommodates up to 300 guests for standing receptions, or we can arrange banquet seating for 200 with round tables and elegant place settings. For more relaxed gatherings, our cabaret layout seats 100 comfortably with space to mingle between tables. The commercial kitchen connects directly to the room, so whether you're using our in-house catering team or bringing your own, hot food arrives promptly without disrupting the party flow. Our fully licensed bar runs the length of one wall, staffed by our experienced team who know how to keep service quick even during the busiest moments. The projector and sound system handle everything from wedding photo montages to live band performances, while the stage has seen its share of speeches, DJs, and even live bands. When natural light fades, our programmable lighting system takes over, shifting from bright and functional to atmospheric party colours at the touch of a button.
