Glass walls frame the Thames as it flows past our Conservatory, creating a room that changes with the seasons and weather. We've kept the original exposed brick from the hotel's earlier days, pairing it with wooden tables that have hosted countless family celebrations and birthday gatherings over the years. Natural light pours through the glass ceiling during the day, while our pendant lights take over after sunset, casting a warm glow across the space. The room holds up to 20 guests for drinks receptions or 16 for seated dining, making it just right for those milestone birthdays where you want everyone close enough to share stories, or family reunions where multiple generations gather around the table. We've arranged comfortable chairs around rustic wooden tables, and added bookshelves filled with local history and river tales that guests often browse between courses. The glass structure means you're sheltered from unpredictable British weather while still feeling connected to the riverside setting outside. Being so close to Chertsey station, your guests can easily reach us by train, and many combine their celebration with visits to nearby Hampton Court Palace or Thorpe Park. Some book rooms upstairs to turn their party into a proper weekend affair, taking advantage of our 47 bedrooms and riverside location. The Conservatory works beautifully for christening parties, anniversary dinners, or birthday celebrations where you want something more special than a standard function room but still need the flexibility of your own private space. With our kitchen serving everything from traditional roasts to South African specialities, we can create menus that suit your celebration perfectly, whether that's canapés and prosecco or a full three-course feast.
