Walking through the grand entrance of our 1844 neoclassical building, the Event Space reveals itself as two floors of celebration possibilities. We've watched countless parties transform these rooms, from wedding receptions that spill across both levels to corporate galas where guests mingle between the Taverne Bar's marble counter and the upper Merchant Suite. The exposed blonde sandstone walls have witnessed 180 years of Glasgow gatherings, now paired with rustic wooden floors that echo with laughter and dancing feet. Natural light pours through our large windows during daytime events, while evenings see the space glow under carefully positioned lighting that highlights the architectural details our guests love photographing. The Taverne Bar downstairs, complete with grand piano, becomes its own party zone.
