Our 1844 neoclassical building stands proud on Wilson Street with sandstone columns wrapped in fairy lights that catch your eye from the street. We're Citation Weddings and Events, right in Glasgow's Merchant City, and we've been hosting celebrations in this historic landmark for years now. Step inside and you'll find exposed blonde sandstone walls that tell the building's story, paired with rustic wooden floors that have welcomed thousands of guests. Our grand split staircase makes quite the entrance – we've seen countless wedding photos taken here, and the natural light flooding through our windows creates the perfect backdrop. The venue splits into two distinct spaces. Our Taverne Bar features a marble bar where guests gather around our grand piano – we've hosted everything from jazz nights to corporate cocktails here. Upstairs, the Merchant Suite bathes in natural light and comes equipped with our full AV setup, projectors, screens, and sound system ready for presentations or party playlists.
