The Captain's Room brings a sense of calm focus to your small meetings, perched on the first floor of our community hub with west-facing windows that catch the afternoon sun beautifully. We've kept things simple here, with a central table that seats four comfortably in boardroom style, plus a whiteboard mounted on the wall for when ideas need mapping out. This is where our trustees often gather for board meetings, and local startups book it for strategy sessions when they need somewhere quiet to think. The neutral walls and carpeted floor help dampen sound, creating that cocoon-like atmosphere you want for confidential discussions or intensive training work. Fresh water is always available, and you'll find the kitchenette just down the corridor, stocked with tea and coffee facilities. The room works brilliantly as a temporary office too. We can arrange four individual desks if you need a project space for a few days, with our 900MBs fibre broadband keeping everyone connected. The minimalist setup means fewer distractions, though when you need a break, our roof garden is just upstairs. Getting here couldn't be easier, we're 15 minutes from Old Street Station, three minutes from Shoreditch High Street Overground. Your team can grab lunch from the food markets nearby or bring external catering up to the room.
