Our Side Bar pulses with Newcastle's underground art scene, where graffiti-covered walls and bold street murals create the perfect backdrop for your next bash. This semi-private space welcomes up to 60 guests into a world where plush booths meet high tables, and colorful lampshades hang above dark polished wood surfaces. String lights criss-cross overhead, throwing warm light across the vivid artwork that covers every wall. The eclectic mix of seating means your crew can sprawl out in the booths for proper conversations or gather round the high tables when the energy picks up. We've designed the layout so groups naturally flow between seated chats and standing mingles, all while soaking up the creative chaos that makes Golf Fang what it is. The Side Bar sits right in the heart of our venue, roped off for your group but still connected to the electric atmosphere of the main space. Your guests can drift between cocktails in the bar and rounds on our 18-hole course, where they'll putt through a life-sized teddy claw machine and other madness we've dreamed up. Our bartenders keep the drinks flowing while our kitchen sends out proper street food, including that infamous Uncle Phil burger stacked with two patties and all the fixings. Company get-togethers thrive in this setting when teams need something more inspiring than another hotel function room. Birthday parties, networking events, and team awaydays all work brilliantly here. We accommodate 45 for standing receptions or 35 seated if you prefer a more structured setup. Getting here couldn't be easier. We're at The Clay Shed in Hoult's Yard with pay-and-display parking right outside. Manors train station sits 15 minutes away on foot, and buses stop nearby throughout the day. Just remember we're strictly 18+ only, no exceptions.
