The Main Space When the roller shutters go up and the lights hit those exposed brick walls, you know something special is about to happen in our Main Space. This is where DEPOT Cardiff really comes alive - 30,000 square feet of industrial character that we've transformed into one of the city's most versatile party venues. Our steel beams stretch overhead, strung with networks of warm lighting that turn cold warehouse architecture into something electric. We can seat 1,200 guests on trestle tables and benches for awards ceremonies or corporate celebrations, or clear the floor completely to pack in 2,000 people for standing receptions and club nights. The beauty of this space is how it adapts - from formal conferences by day to heaving dance floors by night. The stage anchors one end of the room, fully kitted out with our professional lighting rig, AV setup and PA system that's handled everything from international DJs to 10-piece bands. Those large screens flanking the stage mean everyone gets a great view, whether you're presenting quarterly results or screening match highlights during a birthday party. Our technical team stays on hand throughout your event, managing sound and visuals so you can focus on your guests. We've built a fully stocked bar right into the space, plus our three street food kitchens in converted shipping containers serve proper Cardiff fare all night long. The covered smoking area, backstage facilities and green rooms give performers and guests alike the space they need. Colored spotlights wash the walls in whatever mood you're after, while those industrial touches - metal barrels, exposed pipework - remind everyone they're somewhere genuinely different. Just 270 meters from Cardiff Central station with our own car park, getting here couldn't be simpler for your guests, wherever they're traveling from.
