The glass facade catches the afternoon sun perfectly, making our Promenade at Millennium Point one of Birmingham's most photogenic outdoor event spaces. We've watched countless food fairs spring to life here, with vendors setting up their stalls along the tree-lined pathway while the aroma of street food draws curious visitors from Eastside Park next door. This south-facing outdoor corridor comfortably holds 150 people for standing receptions, though we find the sweet spot is around 100, giving everyone room to move between craft stalls or food trucks. The benches dotted along the pathway become natural gathering points where guests pause with their drinks, watching the steady stream of city life pass by. We've installed external power points at regular intervals, so your vendors won't be trailing cables everywhere, and our PA system carries well despite being outdoors. The trees provide just enough shade on sunny days, while the building's overhang offers some shelter if Birmingham decides to be, well, Birmingham. Our catering team can set up bar stations at either end, keeping the drinks flowing without creating bottlenecks. They handle everything from craft beers to cocktails, and we always keep water stations topped up throughout your event. The space works brilliantly for product launches too, with cars and exhibition pieces creating real impact against the modern architecture. Getting here couldn't be easier, with New Street Station just a short walk away. We've got wheelchair access sorted, with level surfaces throughout and our lift connecting to all floors if you need to use our indoor facilities. The designated disabled parking bays are right by the entrance, making arrival straightforward for all your guests. The natural footfall from the park means your event gets built-in visibility, perfect for ticketed festivals or promotional activities that benefit from catching the eye of passers-by.
