Perched on our mezzanine level, The Balcony offers you and up to 15 guests a semi-private retreat where wrought iron railings frame your gathering against the backdrop of our bustling restaurant below. This elevated dining space captures all the character of our former printing press building, with arched ceilings curving overhead and large windows drawing natural light across wooden tables set with gleaming glassware. We've designed The Balcony to feel both connected and separate, letting you enjoy the energy of the main dining room while maintaining your own intimate atmosphere. The space works beautifully for corporate dinners where colleagues can actually hear each other speak, birthday celebrations that feel special without feeling isolated, or anniversary dinners where you want something more memorable than a standard table reservation. Our chefs prepare the same locally-sourced Scottish menu up here as they do downstairs, whether you're sharing our signature tasting menu or we're creating something bespoke for your group. Hand-dived scallops, Perthshire mushrooms, and whatever else Scotland's producers have delivered that week make their way to your table, paired with wines our team selects to complement each course.
