The Rabbit Hole Our basement at 72 Paris Street has become the social heartbeat of Venaspace Exeter, and we'd love you to experience why. Down here in The Rabbit Hole, exposed brick walls meet modern industrial touches, creating a space where Friday beer taps flow and pool cues chalk regularly. We've designed this room to host up to 65 guests comfortably, with plenty of movement between our striking red pool table, the polished wooden bar, and various seating areas. Those plush sofas and modern chairs scattered throughout aren't just for show, they're where deals get discussed over drinks and where colleagues become friends after conferences upstairs. The bar itself has become quite the talking point. We provide a complimentary barrel of beer for your event, served from our bespoke setup complete with high stools where guests naturally gather. Our Sonos speaker system fills the space with whatever soundtrack suits your occasion, while the warm pendant lighting overhead creates just the right atmosphere as evening events unfold. Being in the basement gives The Rabbit Hole its own private feel, separate from the offices above. The exposed ductwork and brick walls that define the space have witnessed everything from product launches to birthday celebrations, networking mixers to team parties. Recent guests particularly appreciated how the room's layout encourages mingling without feeling crowded. Just across from St Sidwell's Point Leisure Centre, our location means your guests can easily find us, with Princesshay shopping centre a short walk away for anyone arriving early. We can arrange catering to complement that barrel of beer, drawing from the excellent local options our regular members know well.
