The ancient Plane tree that shades our terrace has watched over Richmond for centuries, and beneath its branches we've created one of the most sought-after outdoor party spaces along the Thames. The Terrace at Gaucho Richmond opens directly onto the riverside, where Richmond Bridge frames your celebration and Petersham Meadows stretch into the distance. We've designed this semi-private space to make the most of its spectacular setting. The sleek wooden decking extends from our glass-walled restaurant, furnished with modern white chairs and black tables that complement rather than compete with the natural surroundings. During summer parties, we can accommodate 150 seated guests beneath the canopy of leaves, or up to 200 for standing receptions where people naturally gravitate between the bar area and riverside views. Our terrace works brilliantly for different celebrations throughout the year. Corporate teams book evening parties here after meetings in Richmond, birthday groups take over the entire space for afternoon gatherings that stretch into the night, and we've hosted everything from engagement parties to reunion celebrations. The PA system handles speeches and background music perfectly, while groups who want to amp up the atmosphere bring their own DJs to keep the party going. Food is central to every celebration here.
