The Box Gallery stretches across the top two floors of our museum, where floor-to-ceiling glass walls frame Manchester's skyline like a living artwork. When you step into this light-filled space, the city becomes part of your celebration, with panoramic views that shift from daylight cityscapes to the glittering lights of evening. A floating staircase connects both levels, creating natural flow for your guests while adding architectural drama to the space. We've found this dual-level design works brilliantly for everything from cocktail receptions where people mingle across both floors, to more structured events using the levels for different purposes. The contemporary lighting fixtures and vibrant patterned carpets add energy without overwhelming your own styling choices. For private parties and celebrations, we can accommodate up to 80 guests in a reception format, with the flexibility to arrange seating for 50 in banquet style or theatre layout, and 25 for more intimate boardroom gatherings. Our full AV capabilities and PA systems mean whether you're planning speeches, presentations, or entertainment, the technical side runs smoothly. Just a short walk from Victoria Station in Cathedral Gardens, your guests will find us easily accessible. We welcome external caterers, giving you complete freedom over your menu choices, while our licensed bar serves premium beverages throughout your event. The space particularly comes alive for evening celebrations, though we can arrange daytime access for special occasions. From milestone birthday parties to corporate celebrations, product launches to gala dinners, the Box Gallery transforms to match your vision.
