Our Semi Private Dining Room sits just above the main pub, close enough to feel the energy below but separate enough for your own celebration. We've watched countless birthday parties unfold here, from surprise gatherings that had everyone gasping to long Sunday lunches that stretched into evening. Those large windows overlooking Clerkenwell Road mean your daytime events get bathed in natural light, while evenings take on a different character entirely when we dim the lights and let the vintage mirror above our original fireplace reflect the warm glow. We can seat 32 of your guests around our mix of round and rectangular tables, or clear the floor for up to 60 people if you prefer drinks and mingling. The room works beautifully because it feels like a proper dining room rather than a hired space. Our upholstered chairs in soft greys and browns are actually comfortable enough for those long catch-ups, and the artwork on the walls gives your guests something to chat about between courses. We've installed air conditioning for summer parties and kept the fireplace as a focal point for winter gatherings. Our kitchen team sends up the same dishes that make our main dining room so popular, from sharing platters that get everyone reaching across the table to proper three-course dinners. The PA system means speeches carry clearly, and with WiFi throughout, someone inevitably ends up creating a shared photo album by the end of the night. Being so close to both Farringdon and Chancery Lane stations, your guests can easily find us, and when the party winds down, getting home is straightforward.
