We've created a space where canal boats drift past your party windows and the water reflects dancing lights as evening falls over Little Venice. Our whole venue hire gives you exclusive use of both floors, accommodating 70 seated guests or 80 for standing celebrations. The ground floor opens directly onto our canal-side terrace, where guests naturally gather with drinks in hand, watching the narrowboats navigate past. Upstairs, floor-to-ceiling windows frame the water views while weathered wood and maritime touches create that distinctive Summerhouse atmosphere. What works particularly well here is how the space flows. Guests move between the terrace and dining areas, creating different moods throughout your event. During summer parties, we've seen the outside space become its own social hub, while winter celebrations feel intimate and warm inside, with the canal lights twinkling through the windows. Our kitchen really comes alive for private parties. The crispy popcorn shrimp disappears within minutes at cocktail receptions, while our Sunday roasts bring a sense of occasion to seated dinners. We pair everything with wines chosen specifically to complement our seafood-forward menu, plus cocktails that get progressively more creative as the night goes on.
