The Council Chamber pairs Georgian grandeur with everything you need for a proper celebration. Walking into this first-floor space, those tall sash windows catch your eye immediately, pulling natural light across the ornate plasterwork ceiling and bouncing it off the antique mirrors. We've kept all the original features that make people stop and stare - the marble fireplace, the oil paintings, the kind of architectural details that simply aren't made anymore. For drinks receptions, we can fit 100 of your guests comfortably, with plenty of room to mingle between the Council Chamber and the adjoining Reception Room. Planning a seated dinner? The space works beautifully for 70 at round tables, or if you're after something more formal, we can set theatre-style seating for 85. The Reception Room becomes particularly useful during events, whether your guests need somewhere to gather with welcome drinks or you want a separate space for the evening buffet. Our kitchen team handles everything from canapés to three-course dinners, with kosher, halal, vegan and gluten-free options all part of what we do. The bar's fully stocked, and yes, we're licensed for music and dancing until late.
