The Main Arena sweeps across an impressive 1,300 square meters beneath rows of bright overhead lighting, offering Cambridge's most adaptable event space. We've watched this former bowls rink transform into everything from bustling trade exhibitions to elegant wedding receptions, with room for up to 1,000 guests in theatre seating or 750 for standing drinks receptions. The completely flat, unobstructed floor gives you total freedom with your layout. We can arrange 500 in classroom style for conferences, create intimate cabaret rounds for 500, or leave the space open for exhibitions and product launches. Our technical setup includes built-in PA system, projector facilities, and reliable Wi-Fi throughout, while the even lighting ensures every corner stays bright for networking or displays. Character comes from unexpected places here, with colourful murals decorating the walls and adding warmth to what could otherwise feel industrial. The low perimeter barriers help define different zones when needed, particularly useful for trade shows or multi-purpose events. Full wheelchair accessibility runs throughout, with level access from our entrance and adapted facilities available. Our in-house catering team prepares everything from working lunches to three-course wedding breakfasts, with halal, kosher, vegan and gluten-free menus readily available. The fully licensed bar serves at club prices, and you're welcome to bring your own DJ or playlist to set exactly the right atmosphere.
