The Court Room at Oxford Town Hall transforms your celebration into something extraordinary. Picture your guests entering through the original wooden doors into a space where Victorian judges once presided, now reimagined for modern festivities. The rich wood paneling catches the afternoon light streaming through tall arched windows, while the dramatic ceiling height creates an atmosphere you won't find in typical party venues. We've kept the authentic courtroom layout, which actually works brilliantly for events. The fixed benches with their plush red cushioning seat 43 guests comfortably on the main floor, while the original public gallery above accommodates another 50 people. This two-level arrangement gives everyone a great view and creates interesting dynamics for your party, whether you're planning speeches, performances, or just want different areas for mingling. The original dock remains in place, complete with the historic stairs that once led to the holding cells below. Far from being just a quirky feature, it's become one of our most photographed spots and makes a fantastic focal point for drinks receptions or photo opportunities.
